To swap out the spark plugs in the Ford Fusion, you'll require a flathead screwdriver, 13mm and 8mm deep well sockets, a ratcheting wrench, needle nose pliers, a 5/8" spark plug socket, an extension bar, a 3/8" drive ratcheting wrench, and dielectric grease. Start by removing the plastic engine cover secured by four fasteners. Loosen the air intake hose clamp located between the second and third spark plugs with the screwdriver. Use the 13mm socket to take out the bolt on the air intake assembly and detach the vacuum line. Pull out the air intake and set it aside. Remove the plastic loop near the spark plug ignition coil using the 8mm socket to unscrew the ignition coil bolt. Extract the coil and loosen the old spark plug with the 5/8" socket connected to the extension bar and ratcheting wrench. Install the new spark plug, apply dielectric grease, and reinsert the coil and bolt. Put back all the components removed earlier.
