Taking out the front axle shaft on a Ford F-350 will most likely need a significant amount of strength. After removing the tire and wheel, you will have to fully access the axle shaft assembly. To achieve this, move the bearing and hub aside by loosening or eliminating some suspension components. At this stage, it becomes a matter of applying a considerable amount of force; a slide hammer can be quite handy if it's available to you. Grip might be challenging, so using a chain could work well - based on my experience. Some drivers have mentioned success with prying using a flathead screwdriver, but that method hasn't worked for me. It's all about finding what method works best for you.
