To check the fluid level on 2013 and newer Fusion models, you'll require a metric socket set, a ratchet, an extension, and a jack. First, let the car run until it reaches normal operating temperature, then park it on a flat surface. Lift the front driver's side tire off the ground with a jack and remove the tire. Carefully lower the car to the ground. Look to the left of where the CV axle enters the transmission to find the transmission level plug. Remove the plug and allow the transmission fluid to drain out; if it overflows, there was too much fluid. Let it drain until it stops, indicating the correct level. If no fluid comes out, remove the transmission cap under the hood and add fluid until it flows out of the transmission level plug hole. Once it stops, the fluid level is appropriate. Replace the plug, raise the car with the jack, and reattach the tire.

Hey there! These transmissions don't have a dipstick. Instead, you'll find a level fill boot located on the side of the case near the driver's side CV axle. You'll need a 14mm tool to check it, and make sure to do so only after the car has been warmed up, in PARK, and on a flat surface.

There is not a tool to check the oil level in the car!

Pop the hood and find the dipstick. Pull it out and check the oil level on the stick.
