Setting up your phone with an Acura RDX is a straightforward process that you'll want to do when you first get your vehicle or a new phone. The RDX comes equipped with Bluetooth as a standard feature, making it the optimal way to pair your device. To begin, ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and that it is set to be discoverable. Next, navigate to the settings menu on the dashboard of the car. Access device settings, then choose the Bluetooth app list. From there, add a new Bluetooth device and select your phone from the list that appears on the screen. Make sure to input the matching code on both your phone and the car to successfully connect your phone for audio playback and hands-free calling in your vehicle.
To link your phone to the Acura RDX system, press the settings button, then choose "device settings." Next, select the "Bluetooth app list" option, followed by selecting "add Bluetooth device." Your device will enter discovery mode, allowing handsfreelink to search for your phone. Once your phone appears on the list, simply select it.
