I'm not exactly sure where you are in the process of taking out the front seat from your Chevrolet Sonic, so let's just start from the beginning. Firstly, disconnect the car battery to avoid any accidental airbag deployment. Then, take out the 2 T50 bolts securing the seat in place - one will be visible, and the other hidden under a plastic cover that you can pry off with a flathead screwdriver. Disconnect the wiring harness under the seat, push the seat towards the front of the car, and pull it out. Be cautious of the airbag sensor still attached to the seat; there is a plastic cover over it. Loosen the plastic cover to reveal the bolt holding it in place (T50), remove the bolt, and pull an orange tab to detach the cable from the sensor. Remove the sensor from the seat. Unhook the seat belt buckle from the wiring harness, then unbolt the T50 bolts to remove the seat belt buckle.

Move the seat up in order to reach the bolts, then take them out using a wrench.
