How do I reset the audio system in a Honda CR-V?

To begin, insert the key into the ignition and switch the car to the On position. This will activate the car and its accessories, without starting the engine. Next, prepare the car for the Audio system reset by turning on the radio. To do this, you can push the volume control knob or press the 1 button. Give it 10 seconds, then switch off the radio. After that, press and hold the power button for a moment. The radio display will show a code – be sure to take note of this code as it is the security code needed to reset the Audio system of the car. If prompted, enter the code to finish the reset process.
