Before beginning the process of resetting the tire pressure sensor on your 2013 Honda Civic, it's important to check the tire pressure manually to ensure it's correct and avoid any potential damage to your vehicle or injury to yourself. Once you've confirmed the pressure, locate the TPMS button on the left side of your dashboard. Hold down this button until it flashes twice. Then, take your vehicle for a brief 10 to 20-minute drive to allow the sensor to reset. If this doesn't work initially, repeat the process and ensure that the light flashes twice.

To reset the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on a 2013 Honda Civic, find the TPMS button below the dashboard on the left side. Press and hold the button until you notice the TPMS light flashing twice. The system should recalibrate after approximately 20 minutes of driving.

Bring your car to the tire shop. They will use their equipment to make the adjustment. It seems that the design of the 2013 Civic is not up to par in this case.

There have been some false information going around about a reset option for 2013 and 2014 Honda Civics, but in reality, there is no reset button. To relearn the tire positions of newly replaced sensors, you will need a TPMS scanner. The ECU doesn't need to know the tire positions; it only alerts you about low pressure. The relearn procedure is necessary if you installed pre-programmed sensors, not blank or universal ones. For these sensors, you will need a specific tool designed for them to program the sensors for a specific year, make, and model. Afterward, you can go through a relearn process to register the sensors with your car's ECU.
