To activate the cruise control, hit the "SET +" button when you've reached your desired speed and take your foot off the gas pedal. Just like what others have mentioned earlier, there is no quick solution for the problem concerning Canadian cars that were re-imported. While the information is not physically engraved on the dashboard, like it used to be with backlit displays, it is still just as fixed in place. The only way to resolve this issue is by fitting a new instrument panel with the accurate display and resetting the mileage to match the current reading on the vehicle. This task is also quite challenging as dealers are hesitant to carry it out due to restrictions from Ford policy or state regulations. Such is life.

Robert is absolutely right that it will not solve the issue. I reached out to FORD but did not receive any assistance. The salesperson suggested that I should try to learn French.
