To reset the oil light on a 2010 Ford F-150, you can do it in a couple of ways. One method is utilizing the message center, while the other method does not require the message center. If you don't have the message center, start by parking the vehicle in a secure location and turning the ignition to the on position. Then, press and hold the select/reset stem button to show the message "OIL LIFE = %" and "HOLD RESET = NEW." Hold the button for 2 seconds to reset to 100%, and then turn off the ignition. If you have the message center, begin by safely parking and turning the vehicle to the run position. Locate the controls to the left of the steering wheel and navigate the menu by scrolling through it. Use the up and down buttons to find settings and then select "OIL LIFE RESET %" followed by pressing ok to reset. Lastly, turn off the ignition.
