To reset the oil light on a 2008 Toyota Highlander, you need to access the settings menu, locate the oil option, and then press the reset button. Just keep in mind that if your oil level is low or requires changing, the light will continue to illuminate. When performing an oil change on your car, ensure that the vehicle has been turned off and cooled for a couple of hours to prevent burning yourself on the hot oil. Locate the oil pan and drain plug in the engine compartment, place a bucket underneath, and remove the plug to allow the oil to drain. Let it drain completely, which may take about an hour. Once the oil has stopped dripping, replace the drain plug and then refill the oil pan using a funnel. Be careful not to overfill, as this can lead to leaks and oil burn off. Close the intake port, clean up any spilled oil, and you're done.

To clear the oil indicator on a 2008 Toyota Highlander, first, insert the key and turn it to the on position without starting the car. Next, press the trip button until you reach the trip a selection. Turn the key off. With the key back in the on position, press and hold the reset button. The display will indicate that it's resetting and will complete the process.

Certainly! Indeed, you have accomplished outstanding tasks on my behalf.

I don't understand how Mike E's response is considered the top choice when it's clearly incorrect. There isn't an oil setting listed in any menu. I'm puzzled as to why you're confidently providing inaccurate information.
