To control the lights in a Ford Transit, adjust the three-position switch located above the rearview mirror. The initial setting turns them off, the middle setting activates the lights when the doors are opened, and the third setting keeps them on. You can turn on the rear cargo light by operating a separate switch found on the driver's side door jam when both rear doors are open.
