If you own a Ford Escape and want to activate the overdrive feature in your car, here's a quick and simple way to do it that will only require 4 to 6 minutes of your time. Start by entering your vehicle from the driver's side. Locate the gear shifter in the middle of your dashboard, between the radio and center console. You'll find the overdrive button positioned to the left of the shifter. To engage or disengage the overdrive, all you need to do is press the button once.

Neither of these responses are accurate for my 2018 Ford Escape. There is no overdrive button located on the left side of the gear shifter. Instead, there is a rocker switch that can be used to toggle the car between "Sport" mode and normal mode.
