As a Toyota Sienna owner, if you require help on how to open the rear windows in the back cargo section, it is a simple process that will only require about 4 to 5 minutes of your time. Begin by going to the back of your car and opening the rear hatch. Below the glass, you will find a circular black button situated just to the right of the emblem. Press this button to release the side windows. To close them, simply pull the windows down and shut them into position.

I'm not sure if this tip will be useful for anyone else, but I found out that the seal between the back vent window and the van had come loose and shifted a bit, which was causing the window not to close properly. All it took was using some super glue to reattach the seal to the window in a straight position. After that, the window was able to close without any issues.

Tim, I'm facing a similar problem. Initially, I suspected a faulty left-hand motor, so I replaced it. However, now the right-hand side doesn't work unless I disconnect the left-hand motor. I tested the original left-hand motor with a 12-volt DC power source, and it functions properly. I believe there is a relay in the system, but I haven't located it yet.

When I press the rear vent button, both sides open up, but only the one on the passenger side closes. Does anyone have a solution for fixing this issue with my 2000 Sienna XLE?
