To access the hood of the Cadillac XTS, you need to pull the hood release lever located beneath the dashboard on the driver's side. Various engine issues may arise, such as a loose gasket needing immediate tightening, oil leaks requiring prompt repair, or a spark plug coming loose, leading to engine problems. An important concern is the risk of engine overheating, which could result in car fires and even explosion. Excessive oil consumption may necessitate a quick oil change. It is recommended to replace the air filter every 15,000 to 30,000 miles, change the coolant every 60,000 miles, and replace the spark plugs every 100,000 miles unless they are copper, in which case they should be changed every 30,000 miles.
