To reprogram the alarm on a 2007 Honda Odyssey, you need to turn the ignition key from "Off" to "On" twice in a row. Once you turn the ignition to the "On" position, the alarm will chirp a second time, indicating it has been reset. If you encounter issues such as changing the battery or losing power to the vehicle, the alarm may enter Valet mode and will need to be fixed before it can be used again. If the reset process doesn't resolve any electrical problems, it may be necessary to consult a mechanic with the appropriate tools to diagnose the issue.

Here's the paraphrased and unique version: To reset a factory car alarm on a 2007 Honda Odyssey, start by pressing the "panic" button on your remote. If this doesn't work, try inserting your key into the driver's door and holding it in the unlock position for 2 seconds before opening the door.

Ramiro really came through for us. We purchased a pre-owned 2007 Odyssey that came without a key fob, but instead with four keys. Our five-year-old son accidentally triggered the alarm, and despite trying various suggestions, nothing worked until we came across Ramiro's advice. His tip to briefly place the key in the unlock position for two seconds did the trick! We are so grateful to Ramiro K for saving the day!

Hello, I only have one key for my 2007 Odyssey. The car hasn't been driven for the past four months, and the battery is completely drained. When I try to jump-start it, the alarm keeps going off. I attempted to unlock it using the key fob, but it didn't work - the alarm continues to beep. I can temporarily stop the alarm by inserting the key into the driver's door. The only way to fully stop the alarm is by turning off the car. Is there a way to start the car without disturbing the neighbors?

This also works the other way around. When our car battery died, we had to jump-start it, which triggered the alarm. By consulting the manual to locate the fuse for the horn/stop in the hood's fuse box and removing it, the jump-start can be performed without the noisy alarm. Although this won't stop the alarm and emergency lights from activating, it will recharge the battery. With the car already unlocked due to the open hood, you can manually lock it and hold the key in place for two seconds, then unlock it for another two seconds. Voila, problem solved.

Hey Siva, have you figured out a fix for your issue? I'm facing the same problem with my 2007 Honda Odyssey. The car hasn't been used in the past four months, and the battery is completely dead. When I jump-start it, the alarm keeps sounding continuously. The alarm starts as soon as I jump-start my Odyssey and won't stop until the car is turned off.
