To reset the trip meter on a Honda CR-V, simply access the display and hold down the select/reset knob until the number returns to 0.0. Keep in mind that there are two trip meters, Trip A and Trip B, and you can switch between them by using the select/reset knob. Each meter must be reset separately. When you start the car, the last selection will appear on the display. This same process can also be used to reset maintenance alerts like oil life and other reminders on the vehicle.
Can anyone actually clarify the steps to accomplish this task? The answers I've received so far haven't been helpful in guiding me.
