How do you unlock the fuel lid on a Volkswagen Tiguan?

The Volkswagen Tiguan does not have an interior mechanism to open the fuel door; you'll need to exit the vehicle and go to the rear passenger side to do so. Once there, just push on the fuel door, and it will release. Then, you can remove the gas cap and refuel your car.
