Pull or push the hood release in your Dodge Challenger on the left driver's side until you hear the hood unlock. You may need to search under the grill, behind the bumper, and inside the grill to find a lever, arm, button, or handle. Move it in different directions until the hood releases. If needed, secure the hood. If the hood stays up easily on its own, you're good to go. If not, locate the hood prop – a long metal rod – under the hood's edge or underside. Adjust the prop to fit into the designated slot to hold the hood in place.
