In order to keep the 2012 Hyundai Accent engine running smoothly, it requires 3.5 quarts of either SAE 5W-20 or 5W-30 fully synthetic motor oil. You can purchase this oil at various retail locations, automotive stores, or online. The price for a one-quart bottle typically ranges from $2.99 to $13.95. You will need approximately 3 bottles for a complete oil change. When replacing the oil in your vehicle, first ensure that all the old oil in the reservoir is fully drained using the drain valve at the bottom. Then, unscrew the cap on top and use a funnel to pour in the new oil until it reaches the fill line.

I got my oil changed with 4 quarts about 3 months ago without any issues. Since then, I added a total of 1 quart in around 3 months. However, during today's oil change, 5 quarts were poured into the engine, which ended up being about 1 quart over the maximum level on the dipstick. I'm not sure if the excess oil will cause the exhaust to smoke, but as of now, there hasn't been any visible smoke coming out from the tailpipe.
