For the 2014 Chevy Silverado, it is recommended to use 0w-20 oil with a capacity of 6.6 quarts. To change the oil, ensure the car has been parked and turned off for a while to avoid burning yourself with hot oil. Locate the oil pan and drain plug under the car's engine. Place a bucket under the plug, remove it, and let the oil drain completely, which can take about an hour. Once it stops dripping, put the drain plug back on. Find the intake port on top of the oil pan and fill it with the new oil using a funnel. Avoid overfilling to prevent leaks or oil burn off. After filling, close the port, clean up any spills, and you're done.
In 2014 Chevy Silverado trucks, the 4.3-liter V6 engine takes 6 quarts (or 5.7 liters) of oil, while the 5.3-liter and 6.2-liter V8 engines require 8.5 quarts (or 8 liters) of oil.
Can you please attend to replacing the oil filter?
