In the 2019 Toyota Tundra, the amount of fuel your vehicle can hold varies depending on whether you have a standard tank or a larger tank. The standard tank has a capacity of 26.4 gallons, while the larger tank can hold up to 38 gallons. If you're uncertain about which type of gasoline to use, I'm here to assist you with that. The recommended fuel for the Tundra is regular unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87. Keeping your vehicle fueled up is crucial because without it, you won't be able to start or drive your car. It's advisable not to drive with low fuel levels as this can potentially harm the fuel pump system.

I find it fascinating. Recently, I purchased a 2019 Tundra on February 21, 2022. The dealership included a full tank of gas with the purchase. During a day trip that needed refueling when my tank was just under a quarter full, I only managed to pump in 16 gallons of gas during that first stop. Strangely, my fuel gauge displayed a full tank. Given that the tank is supposed to hold 26.4 gallons (taking into account a 6-gallon reserve), I'm curious - where did the other 10 gallons that should fit in the tank go, and why does my fuel gauge show full after only 16 gallons are pumped in?
