In order to change the oil in a 2019 Ford Fiesta with a 1.6L 4-cylinder engine that uses synthetic oil sae 5w-20 and holds 4.6 quarts of oil, first make sure the car has been turned off and parked for a couple of hours. This will prevent you from getting burned by the hot oil in the engine. Then, locate the oil pan and drain plug underneath the car. Place a bucket under the plug, remove it, and let the oil drain into the pan until it stops dripping, which could take about an hour. Once it has finished dripping, replace the drain plug and find the oil fill port on top of the oil pan. Use a funnel to fill the oil pan to the full mark, being careful not to overfill. It's okay to be a little under the full mark, but overfilling could lead to leaks and burning oil. Once the oil level is correct, close the fill port, clean up any spilled oil, and your oil change is complete.
