The Ford Focus ST requires 5.4 quarts of oil for a complete refill. When your reservoir is empty, you can add about 5 quarts of oil to top it off. You can buy the necessary oil in one-quart containers at various retail outlets and online. You will need to purchase four or five bottles of either SAE 5w-20 or 5w-30 oil, which will range in price from $3.43 to $12.98 per quart. To begin, loosen the drain plug at the bottom of the tank and remove all the old oil. Then, unscrew the top cap of the reservoir. Using a funnel, carefully pour in the new oil until it reaches the maximum fill line. Replace the cap, and you're finished.
The Ford Focus ST requires 5.7 quarts of motor oil for optimal performance.
