The 2016 Buick Enclave needs 36 ounces of freon. If the air conditioning in your 2013 Buick Enclave starts blowing warm air, you may have a freon leak. Recharging the freon in your AC system is an affordable and simple first step to enhance the cooling ability of your air conditioning. Many refrigerants contain a leak sealer that not only refills the R134a refrigerant but also seals small leaks. Your Enclave's air conditioning system comprises a belt-driven compressor, an evaporator, and freon. Connect the refrigerant can to the low-pressure port and when the compressor activates, add freon to reach the correct pressure. Freon not only assists in cooling but also lubricates the compressor during operation.

I own a 2015 and a 2016 Enclave, and both have very slow leaks of freon. The 2015 needed 38 ounces, and the 2016 needed 35 ounces. When I checked the gauges, the suction readings were 50-55, and the pressure side readings were 250 to 275 psi while the temperature in Texas was 102 degrees. This information was really helpful today, as it made my wife happy. It just goes to show that it's important to pay attention to what you read and what websites you visit. Thanks a lot, D. Prill.
