The cargo space on the 2001 Jeep Cherokee is 32.9 cubic feet with the seats up and 69 cubic feet with the seats folded down. There is a convenient feature where you can lift up a small floor panel inside the vehicle to reveal a compartment for folding down the seats. To fold the seats, simply pull the lever on the side of the seats, push them down into the compartments, and secure them until you hear a click. To unfold the seats, repeat the process in reverse, which should only take about a minute or two to complete.
