The 2016 Hyundai Tucson is a pretty big and strong ride, able to tow up to 1,000 lbs thanks to its 150 to 195 lbs of torque. If you go for the upgraded Sport, Limited, Night, or Ultimate trims, you'll get an increased towing capacity of 2,000 pounds because they're slightly larger too. There's also a value trim available from Hyundai with a towing capacity of 1,500 pounds, aside from the base model.

Producing anywhere from 151 to 195 pounds-feet of torque allows the 2016 Hyundai Tucson to pull up to 1,000 pounds. Hyundai restricts the tongue weight to 100 pounds.
