If you're driving a Ford Transit equipped with a 3.5 liter engine, you might be curious about how to perform an oil change on your own. Fortunately, it's a relatively straightforward process. Firstly, you'll need to raise the vehicle using a jack, ensuring all necessary safety measures are taken to avoid any accidents. Once the Transit is elevated, locate the drain valve situated at the bottom of the oil reservoir. Loosen it by turning it counterclockwise and allow the old oil to empty from the tank. Lower the vehicle once this step is completed. To finish, open the hood and remove the cap covering the reservoir. Slowly pour in new oil until it reaches the maximum fill line.
