How should I go about resetting the TPMS on my 2014 Subaru Crosstrek?

The 2014 Subaru Crosstrek comes with tire pressure sensors that keep track of the air pressure. If the proper PSI isn't maintained, the TPMS warning light will come on. If the light is flashing, it usually means the Subaru tires are overinflated. A solid light may indicate underinflation, while a sequence of flashing and then solid could signal a communication issue. A malfunctioning sensor could be causing the problem. To reset the TPMS warning, park on a level surface and use a gauge to check the tire pressures – they should be between 32-33 PSI. Look for the sticker inside the driver's door jamb with the recommended PSI for your Crosstrek model. After adjusting the tire pressure and inspecting the wheels, start the car and drive for 20-30 minutes at speeds of 25 mph or more. The system will register the new pressures, and the TPMS light should turn off. If the warning persists, arrange a service appointment to check for a potential slow leak in one of the wheels.

To recalibrate the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on the 2014 Subaru Crosstrek, press and hold the TPMS reset button until the tire pressure indicator flashes. Then, start the car and allow about 20 minutes for the system to reset.

There isn't a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) reset button on the 2014 Crosstrek; it might be available on the more recent models.
