To begin, you can start the Ford EcoSport by inserting the Intelligent Access key into the slot with the buttons facing backward and the keyring facing upward. Next, simply press the Start / Stop ignition button and step on the brake pedal to start your vehicle as you normally would. After the vehicle is running, you can remove the key from the backup slot if desired. To remove the key from the key fob, press the button at the top of the fob and slide out the key. This key can also be used to unlock the car, with the only lock being on the driver's side door.
