To change the driver's side mirror on the Ford Flex, you'll need a few tools and some time. Gather a 10mm and 11mm deep sockets with an extension, a Philips screwdriver, a hooked tool, flat head screwdrivers, and a putty knife. Start by taking out the SRX Philips screws and two 10mm hex bolts around the panel perimeter. Use the hook tool to pop out the reflector. Remove the cover that conceals the bolt behind the handle, and also the cover hiding the bolt behind the lever - it may be a bit challenging to remove. Then, raise up the door handle to slide the panel back and forth. Now you should be able to disconnect the electrical connector and take out the mirror.
