To change the serpentine belt on a 2010 Ford Fusion 2.5, you first need to open the hood and find the belt. Then, lift the vehicle safely using a jack on a level surface. Put the car in neutral and take out the 4 screws on the fender splash shield. Locate the drive belt tensioner and loosen the belt by removing the hex bolt. Turn the drive belt clockwise and detach it from the coolant pump pulley. It's important to have a diagram or take a photo of the belt's path for proper reinstallation. Finally, tighten the bolts to 18 lb-ft of torque.
