To turn off the oil light in a 2019 Hyundai Elantra, first, sit in the driver's seat with the car parked and all doors closed. Rotate the key to the ON position without starting the engine. Press the top left button on the cluster of controls located on the right side of the steering wheel. This action should open a User Settings menu on the instrument cluster display. Use the arrow scroll button to navigate down to Service Interval and press the OK button on the steering wheel. Keep scrolling down until you reach the Reset option, placed right after the Adjust Interval setting. Select Reset, press OK, and confirm by selecting Yes when prompted. Go back to the main screen by using the back button. Turn the key to Off and then start the engine to ensure the reset has been successfully completed.
