The 2017 Chevy Malibu offers SRX inches of ground clearance. When compared to similar cars in its class in terms of height, it should be able to handle light snowfall well, anything less than 3 inches. However, if the snow accumulates more than this or if there is significant ice, the car is not recommended for use in these conditions. While it may manage, it would be advisable to choose a different vehicle if possible. Snow tires can enhance safety, but their effectiveness is limited.
