If the bluetooth isn't working on your Jeep Grand Cherokee, you might need to reset it. It's a common problem for the bluetooth to become unpaired. Typically, you can fix this issue by simply restarting your device. After restarting it, wait a bit and then navigate to the bluetooth settings to pair it with your Uconnect. If your Jeep's Uconnect hasn't been updated, that could be causing the bluetooth connection problems. Soft resetting will help update the system quickly. To do this, turn on both your car (in Park mode) and infotainment system. Press and hold the upper right corner of the infotainment screen until it turns off, usually within 10 to 17 seconds.

If the Bluetooth in your Jeep Grand Cherokee isn't functioning properly, you might have to reset it or it could be receiving interference from another signal.

My situation is different from Jerry's - I can listen to music on my device but can't seem to make calls. Even though I can hear the other person during a call, they can't hear me. I'm struggling to find any useful information beyond instructions on connecting or disconnecting :/

Hey everyone, I believe I've discovered a fix! I recently watched a YouTube tutorial that suggested pressing both the hot and cold buttons simultaneously on the driver's side to adjust the temperature. A menu will then appear, and you should select the restart option (which I believe is the first one, but was shown in Spanish on my screen). This will perform a hard reset on the Uconnect system. I hope this tip proves helpful to you all.

I have encountered an issue where I can use my phone for phone calls and texts through my car's Bluetooth system, but I am unable to play media through Bluetooth or the USB auxiliary port. I discovered a solution that involves deleting the Bluetooth pairing on the car's uconnect system and performing a soft reset by pressing both round buttons while in the car with the engine off and waiting for the display to change and reset. Additionally, on my phone, I need to delete or forget the uconnect device in Bluetooth settings. After these steps, I should restart my car and reconnect my phone to the car's Bluetooth system, which should resolve the issue.

I own a 2012 vehicle and I'm only able to connect my phone for calls, but I can't listen to music or other audio. I'm not sure if this is because my car is too old or if it's because it lacks Bluetooth functionality. My stereo system includes Sirius satellite radio in the center, with icons for mp3, WMA, and JPEG on the left side, and a hard disk drive icon on the right side. However, I can't find any options for Bluetooth connectivity anywhere, not even when I access the media menu.
