I own a 2013 F 250 Super Duty with a 6.0 engine. While it was idling, the wrench light and check engine light suddenly appeared. The truck began idling roughly and went into limp mode. After letting it sit for a day, I restarted it and drove without the wrench light on and it was no longer in limp mode, but the check engine light remained on. Another day later, after restarting it, all lights were off and the truck ran smoothly. However, after running for 30 minutes and shutting off, the wrench light came back on, along with rough idling and limp mode. Can you please provide some assistance in diagnosing this issue?

I experienced a comparable issue with my 6.0 engine. Whenever my boost gauge exceeded 20 psi, both the wrench and check engine lights would illuminate. Located right above the heater blower motor, there’s a black switch with a plug and a black hose attached, leading to the turbocharger's waste gate. This switch is meant to shut down the engine if the boost pressure gets too high. However, in my case, it was activating prematurely. My vehicle was a 2005 F350 crew cab.
