In Your Toyota Camry, there are three main spots where oil could be leaking from. The first spot to inspect is the valve cover gasket, which can wear out over time, causing oil to seep out onto the engine or the ground on the driver's side. The second spot to check for oil leaks is the oil pan gasket, but make sure the leak is actually from there as oil from the valve cover can appear to be coming from the oil pan. The most expensive area to repair is the cam seals and gaskets around the crankshaft and oil pump. These are typically changed when replacing the timing belt and can serve as a good indicator that this service is needed.
