The reason why the rear speakers in the Nissan Altima are not working is likely because of a faulty fuse. To access the fuse box located under the car's hood, start by opening the hood and securing it in place. Look for a black box or case on the right side of the engine compartment with a noticeable seam around it. Open this case to find the fuse inside. The back of the case's lid should have a diagram indicating the purpose of each fuse. If the diagram is not there, you can refer to the car's owner's manual. Once you identify the necessary fuse, remove it. Check if the thin metal strip connecting the two raised sections of the fuse is intact. If the strip is broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. If the strip is still intact, the fuse is functioning, and you can reinsert it into the box. Replacement fuses are relatively inexpensive, typically around $10.
