If the fuel gauge in your 2011 Ford F-150 is not working, it is likely due to a faulty fuse in the instrument cluster. To access the fuse box, locate a small seam or crack along the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel. Use a screwdriver or prybar to carefully open this panel. Inside, you will find a variety of fuses. On the back of the panel, there should be a diagram indicating the function of each fuse. If this diagram is not present, you can refer to the owner's manual for the vehicle. Identify the fuse responsible for the fuel gauge issue and remove it. Check if the thin metal strip connecting the two raised sections of the fuse is intact. If the strip is broken, the fuse is defective and needs to be replaced. If the strip is undamaged, the fuse is still good to use and can be reinserted. Replacement fuses are typically inexpensive, costing around $10 each.

If the gas gauge in a 2011 Ford F-150 isn't functioning properly, it could be due to a faulty fuse, a malfunctioning float, or a defective sending unit.

The fuse panel can be found on the right side of the dashboard, behind a cover. Remove the cover to access the fuses, and refer to the owner's manual to locate the correct fuse.

The 2011 F-150 is equipped with 2 fuse boxes. One is located under the hood above the radiator, and the other can be found under the passenger side dash behind the kick panel.

There is no visible seam next to the steering wheel; instead, the fuse box is located under the hood, positioned above the radiator.
