There have been no recalls for oil leakage issues with the 2015 Chevy Cruze. If your car is leaking oil, it may be due to a faulty oil line or drain plug. Having low oil levels can be dangerous, so you should add more oil. When changing the oil in your car, be sure to park the vehicle and let it cool off for a couple of hours first. This allows the hot oil to cool down and prevents you from getting burned. Locate the oil pan in the engine compartment and find the drain plug underneath it. Place a bucket under the plug and remove it to let the oil drain out. Wait until the oil stops dripping, which could take about an hour. Once it's done draining, replace the plug and find the intake port on top of the oil pan. Use a funnel to fill the oil pan to the full mark, being careful not to overfill it. It's okay to be slightly under the full mark, but too much oil can cause leaks and burning. After filling it up, close the port, clean up any spilled oil, and you're done.
