Can't believe it! Drive up on ramps, use a 10mm socket and catch pan (take it to AutoZone or your local recycling center), and a 25mm socket for the filter under the rear water housing. Check the color of the filter – black or brown – to determine the type needed. There are lots of videos online to help guide you. But, don't forget about a crucial change – the transmission fluid. It's not difficult, no need to drop a pan or change a filter, just a drain plug! GM did it right with a high-revving motor designed to hold gears and rev out the motor when accelerating uphill at 55+ mph. I guarantee the fluid will be burnt. Instead of paying $100 for a quick job at a shop, you can do it yourself. No need to remove the side bolt until fluid comes out. It takes 4 quarts and 9 ounces of fluid. Just use a funnel, no other tools needed.
