The 2016 Chevrolet Equinox doesn't have Apple CarPlay included as per the factory specifications, but it does have a navigation infotainment system available on certain trim levels. While Apple CarPlay was introduced by Chevrolet in 2016, it was only found in specific models like Spark, Cruze, Malibu, CR-V, and Impala. However, they started including it in the system from 2018 onwards. If you really want Apple CarPlay in your SUV, you can buy an aftermarket radio receiver that features the system. Pioneer is a brand that offers a multimedia video receiver for your car with this capability, which can be installed for an average price of $280 - $300.

You claimed that the product would fit any SUV without any issues, so I purchased two for my 2014 and 2016 Equinox. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit the 2016 model, and I'm still awaiting confirmation for the 2014. I'm frustrated with this false advertising and would appreciate a notification or an apology.
