In 2010, the Nissan Altima can be upgraded with an additional trim package to include Bluetooth capabilities. This upgrade allows for hands-free calls, USB connection, a 4.3-inch touchscreen, nine-speaker Bose AM/FM Audio, and a rearview monitor through the premium Audio kit. To set it up, for navigation-equipped cars, press the telephone button on the Audio system, attach, and connect a new unit. For vehicles without navigation, press the Enter/Set button on the Audio system, select Bluetooth, and connect the phone. Make sure your smartphone is Bluetooth-compatible, go to Settings, select My Car, and choose the MY-CAR option. Verify that the PIN displayed on the vehicle matches the one on your smartphone. If they match, approve the pairing request on your device and select OK.
