Between 2011 and 2013, a third-row seat could be added, allowing for a maximum capacity of either 5 or 7 occupants. In 2014, the Sorento could accommodate only 5 people. From 2015 to 2018, the third-row seat option returned. In the latest models from 2019 onward, the third row is standard, and models without it are unavailable.
