The Si trim level features a close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission. Opinions among automotive experts vary on the effectiveness of CVT transmissions, but from my experience working on different types of transmissions, I recommend being cautious about choosing a CVT. While the performance may be slightly improved during regular use, potential issues could end up costing you more in the long run. Thankfully, the CVT option is only available on the Hybrid model in this case, so if you have the choice, it's best to steer clear of it.
