In the current lineup of Honda CR-V models, there is no V6 engine option available, and there never has been one offered in any past models. Instead, the current model is powered by a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that delivers 190 horsepower. While the engine may be smaller in size, it still offers a decent amount of power. Honda has no intentions of introducing a V6 version for this vehicle due to its compact size, unless there is a significant redesign that creates additional space for a larger engine.
The 2019 Honda CR-V is equipped with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine.
I have a friend in Iowa who owns an older CRV with a powerful 6-cylinder engine. She absolutely loves her car and wouldn't consider trading it for anything else. I recall noticing that it has a spare tire mounted on the rear with a sturdy cover, although I'm not certain about the specific year of the vehicle.
