The 2013 Honda Civic is equipped with a backup camera as a standard feature. If the camera stops working, there are typically three reasons for the malfunction. First, the camera could be damaged by road debris, requiring repairs. Second, there might be an issue with the wire supplying power to the camera. Lastly, and most frequently, the system's fuse could be blown. The fuse box is located to the left of the steering wheel, behind a removable panel—just look for the seam. Replacing a fuse is affordable and straightforward, usually costing between $10 and $15.
