The 2001 Ford F-150 doesn't have a cabin air filter. Trucks from 2000 to 2010 models also didn't have cabin air filters. Instead of a cabin filter, these vehicles typically have a mesh or some kind of covering to protect the A/C unit from debris and other particles. You can check the glove compartment to see if your truck has an air filter. Cars without a cabin filter will have an evaporator that acts as a filter to prevent pollen and pollutants from entering the air coming through the engine.
