In the 2012 Ford Expedition, you can find the cabin air filter behind the glovebox compartment. To replace the filter, you'll need a screwdriver. Simply open the passenger door and locate the plastic housing cover beneath the glovebox. Remove the screws from the cover's four corners, take off the cover, and slowly pull out the old filter downward toward the vehicle floor. Remember which side of the filter is facing you. Insert the new filter in the same position as the old one, put the cover back on, and secure it by screwing in the four screws in the corners.
