The 2005 Chevy Impala, without a chipped key, may face battery issues over time. This could result in rapid draining, leaks, or even a cracked case needing replacement. Eventually, the battery may become ineffective and will require replacement every 50,000 to 60,000 miles. While it may cost some money, you'll need to invest in keeping your car operational.

I own a 2005 Impala with the police package, and it came with two keys. Both keys unlock the doors, but only the one with black plastic and the Chevy bowtie emblem on both sides can start the car. I disagree with this setup!
