The 2017 Chevy Cruze comes equipped with a standard backup camera. In case the camera is not functioning properly, there are three main reasons that could be causing the issue. The first reason may be damage caused by road debris, requiring repair. The second reason could be a faulty power wire. Lastly, the most common reason is a burnt out fuse that powers the system. To access the fuse box, located to the left of the steering wheel under a removable panel, look for the seam. Fuses are affordable and simple to replace, so you should be able to fix it for around $10 to $15.
Incorporating dash cameras into your vehicle can be a valuable tool for reducing liability on the road by allowing you to capture any accidents you may be a part of. You can easily add this feature to your car through the aftermarket if it piques your interest. It's worth noting that the Cruze model does not come equipped with this feature at any trim level straight from the manufacturer's factory.
